A cover (1) for the open side of a latticed box is mfrd. in a water-resistant plastic material, pref. recycled, e.g. high impact polycarbonate. The edges (5) of the flat cover (1) are bent upwards and outwards at right angles such that they engage on the top of the box edges. An alternative design includes recesses (6) to accept the feet of the box supported on top. USE/ADVANTAGE - For protecting items stored in latticed boxes or box pallets, typically standard European box pallets. Provides protection for goods against moisture and soiling, is rapidly positioned and can be stored in a small area.
