METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF POLYESTER TYRE CORD

The polyester tire cord is prepared with a polyester filament yarn (I) in the condition of 0.2-0.6 g/d of strength for heating and 220-250 deg.C of temp. for heating in dipping process. The polyester filament yarn has the properties of; SCM < 1.67, 5.0% < E4.5 <6.5%, ΔS177 < 5.5% where SCM is strength conversion efficiency, E4.5 is elongation (%) wt. 4.5 kg load in the elongation load curve, ΔS177 is dried shrinking ratio after non-tension treatment at 177 deg.C for 2 min. at a hot blowing oven.
