<p>"Glass-in-lead" windows are prod. by placing the window panes, which have been suitably cut to size, in a mould and joining with a resin which is applied as a thin layer and is allowed to cure. The exact resin compsn. depends on the casting temp. but pref. contains Araldite DCY 230, curing agent HY 951 and Plenamix (RTM's). Use may be made of non-woven glass fibre or polyamide reinforcement.</p> |
