PURPOSE:To efficiently produce an absolute parasitic bacterium as a natural enemy against nematodes living in plants by subjecting a plant to which a natural enemy bacterium is stuck and in which nematodes live to water culture or mist culture. CONSTITUTION:Nematodes to which a natural enemy bacterium is stuck are suspended in an aqueous solution of a polysaccharide or its derivative (e.g. agar or gelan gum), roots of a plant are immersed in the suspension or the suspension is sprayed on the roots of the plant to make the nematodes to which the natural enemy is stuck live in the roots of the plant. Or, nematodes to which the natural enemy bacterium is stuck are dispersed in a water suspension of an inorganic carrier (e.g. microballoon obtained from cinders of coal, coke, etc.) and roots of a plant are immersed in the dispersion to make the nematodes live in the roots. Since the roots of the plant in which nematodes live reduces resistance to blight and injury and optionally decompose by parasitism especially with a fungus, a water culture solution or a solution for mist is preferably mixed with a fungicide (e.g. hydroxyisoxazole or metalaxyl). |
