PURPOSE:To provide a recorder whereby an image of less void, high quality and satisfactory fixation can be steadily obtained for a long period of time even on a recording sheet with low surface smoothness. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with an intermediate transfer medium 2 having releasability and elasticity, and once forms an ink image 13 on the intermediate transfer medium 2 by use of an ink sheet 5 and a thermal head 8, then firmly presses a recording sheet 12 to the intermediate transfer medium 2 by means of a pressure roller 11. Therefore, the ink image 13 can be transferred sufficiently according to the recess and projection of the surface of the recording sheet 12. The releasability of the intermediate transfer medium 2 can be always kept satisfactory and the releasability of the pressure roller 11 can also be maintained satisfactorily, by placing an oil supply roller 14, which holds silicone oil, in contact with the pressure roller 11, thereby supplying the silicone oil of the oil supply roller 14 to the intermediate transfer medium 2 via the pressure roller 11. |
