摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high-grade image excellent in saturation by reducing the density irregularity and stripes of the image by a method wherein the simultaneous emission of liquid droplets from adjacent emitting orifices is prevented and a plurality of liquid droplets emitted from emitting orifices different in main scanning are allowed to reach the interior of one pixel or different positions to form one pixel. CONSTITUTION:Liquid droplets are emitted from one ends of a plurality of liquid passages to perform recording. When one pixel of a recording medium is formed from a plurality of liquid droplets, the respective liquid droplets Q1-Q4 emitted from a plurality of emitting orifices are allowed to reach the range of one pixel as shown by image levels 2-4. The liquid droplets Q1-Q4 of respective colors reach the corners corresponding to the respective colors in the triangle or square within the range of one pixel. Further, a plurality of the liquid droplets Q1-Q4 forming one pixel are emitted in different timings within an emitting cycle. By this constitution, even when there is irregularity in the capacities of emitted liquid droplets at every emitting orifices, density irregularity or a strip is hard to generate in an image.
