When cables are buried without protective conduit it is usual to lay buried cable markers in a separate stratum above them for protection and identification. Instead of the tiles, or like, normally used plastic, rubber or plastic in the form of a continuous heavy gauge strip may be used. The strip proposed is of P.V.C. with a plasticiser additive. A long strip whose width is at least equal to the dia. of the cable beneath it and with identification markings moulded it is covered by the claim. |
