<p>Continuous precise optical measurement of te temp. of a radiant source moving across a dark field, especially of points along a wire leaving a rolling mill or a die and vibrating transversely, consists in receiving the luminous flux emitted by the source, irrespective of its position in the field, and conveying it to a small fixed surface. The temp. of the source is deduced from the flux measured at this surface.</p> |
