<p>Coffee extract, or a similar solution such as beer, milk or orange juice, or even blood is finely divided and the droplets fall through a gas cooled to a temperature below the freezing point of the solution, whereby they are solidified. Subsequently, the water sublimates from the solid particles, preferably under vacuum. By this method, water is removed at low temperature, and the dry product is obtained in finely divided state. A suitable apparatus is claimed.</p> |
