PURPOSE:To obtain the objective lubricant which protects a working tool and a workpiece against seizure and effectively suppress the formation of surface defects, etc., caused by seizure by adding a specified amount of particles of a heat-resistant organic resin having a specified basic skeleton to a grease as a dispersing medium. CONSTITUTION:Resin particles comprising an organic resin which is normally solid and has a 10% weight loss temperature of 400 deg.C or above and having a mean particle diameter of 0.1mum-1mm are added to a grease as a dispersing medium. This resin is preferably a polymer or copolymer having at least one kind of structures of formulas I-IV. The amount of the resin added is usually about 0.1-40wt.% based on the dispersing medium. This lubricant can stably exhibit its performances on various working surfaces of various working tools. |
