PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of dirt left uncaught with a filter while allowing the inhibiting of the dirt adhering to a fin of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A ceiling embedded type air conditioning apparatus 1 is provided with a fouling catching member 10 as arranged facing a heat exchanger 3 entirely in a space between the heat exchanger 3 and a turbo fan 4 at a position closer to the heat exchanger 3. The fouling catching member 10 is provided with a number of catching fins 10a which are arranged along the extension of a fin 3a of the heat exchanger 3 to let air fed from the turbo fan 4 be rectified and flow into the heat exchanger 3. This enables prevention of the clogging of the heat exchanger 3 with the catching of matter contaminating air by the catching fins 10a and with the rectification of an air flow to the heat exchanger 3. |
