OXYGEN IONIC CONDUCTOR AND SOLID FUEL CELL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an ionic conductor practically usable as a solid electrolyte for fuel cells, having higher ionic conductivity than YSZ and no structural transformation at a temperature between room temperature and a working temperature and to give a solid fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:An ionic conductor and a solid fuel cell comprise a composition of ZrO2-CeO2, more preferably a composition of (1-x-y)ZrO2-xSc2O3-yCeO2 (00 and y>0).
