PURPOSE:To provide an antistatic method of a synthetic fiber product excellent in washability and dry cleaning resistance and capable of exhibiting excellent antistatic effect even in an atmosphere of low humidity. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing at least one kind of water-soluble nitrogen-containing antistatic compound expressed by formula I (R1 is >=8C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, etc.; R3 and R4 are each 1-4C alkyl and its derivative; X is halogen, OH, etc.), formula II [R5 is 12-18C alkyl; (m)+(n) is 2-30, including that either one of (m) and (n) may be 0], formula III (R6 and R7 are each 14-18C alkyl) and formula IV (R8 is 14-18C alkyl) is applied to a synthetic fiber and then the synthetic fiber is subjected to ozone treatment without carrying out drying. Thereby, a firm film is formed on the fiber surface to provide the objective synthetic fiber product excellent in washability and dry cleaning resistance and having antistatic effect. |
