摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an input torque calculator for a vehicular automatic transmission with a torque converter by which an accurate input torque value is obtained by correcting the input torque value calculated by an input torque calculation means so as to approach to an actual input torque value. CONSTITUTION:An actual capacity coefficient C is decided from a relation memorized in advance by a step SS4 corresponding to a capacity coefficient decision means, based on a speed ratio calculated by a step SS1 corresponding to a speed ratio calculation means. Meanwhile, the input torque Tin of an automatic transmission 14 is calculated based on the capacity coefficient C, by a step SS5 corresponding to an input torque calculation means. The input torque Tin value is corrected so as to approach to the actual input torque value by the step SS4 corresponding to an input torque correction means, in relation to an oil pressure in a torque converter 12 expressed indirectly by a throttle valve opening thetath detected by a throttle sensor 90. Therefore, the input torque value of the automatic transmission can be obtained much accurately.
