METHOD FOR INK JET PRINTING, FABRIC PRINTED BY THE SAME METHOD AND PRODUCTION OF PRINTED FABRIC

PURPOSE:To provide a method for dyeing, supplying dyed materials having clarity, high concentration and high fineness free from oozing, showing high dyeing ratio while giving a little environmental pollution caused by waste water of printing. CONSTITUTION:In a method for ink jet printing by providing fabric with ink by ink jet method, at least the following four processes are used to consitute the objective method for printing. (a) The process for adjusting water content in fabric to an increased value of 5-100wt.% official water content of yarn constituting the fabric. (b). The process for providing the adjusted fabric with printing ink at a recording density of >=3 dots/mm X 3dots/mm and <=35 dots/mm X 35 dots/mm and at a pickup of the printing ink in the fabric of 0.025-1mg/cm<2>. (c) The process for dyeing the fabric with dye in the ink by heat treatment. (d) The process for washing away undyed dye.
