摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a high toughness and high strength composite material improving a thermal impact resistance and moreover, imparted with an electrical conductivity. CONSTITUTION:In a ceramic composite material consisting of Al2O3 and ZrB2 particles, 5-40vol.% ZrB2 particles are dispersed in crystalline particles of a Al2O3 matrix having 0.2-10mum average particle diameter to form the ceramic composite material, and ZrB2 particles has <=2mum average particle diameter and 2-0.05mum particle diameter is preferable. As to the production of the ceramic composite material, Al2O3 and ZrB2 are mixed at the compounding composition, obtained compound is molded and the molding is sintered at >=1400 deg.C in an atmosphere of an inert gas or a hydrogen.
