PURPOSE:To carry out adjustment of operation timing of a detector required due to change of printing paper, etc., quickly and without requiring skillfulness. CONSTITUTION:A lever 9 is mounted swingably on a main frame 7 fixed to a feeder A of a printing press, a detection roller 11 is mounted on one end 9a of the lever 9 facing toward a paper sheet feeding roller 3 and a roller 16 is mounted on the other end 9b of it, an adjusting cam 17 for adjusting a clearance between the paper sheet feeding roller 3 and the detection roller 12 is made in contact with the roller 16, and a driving motor 20 and its controller 24 for the adjusting cam 17 are provided to adjust a clearance between the paper sheet feeding roller 3 and the detection roller 12 by controlling the amount of rotation of the driving motor 20. |
