PURPOSE:To provide an emulsion fuel engine wherein needless to say, reduction of exhaust gas and improvement of fuel consumption can be attained by applying emulsion fuel, to reduce combustion noise and further hydrocarbon can be suppressed from increasing. CONSTITUTION:Gas oil in a tank 1 and water in a tank 2 are supplied to a mixer 13 by opening/closing two-way valves 12, 14, to prepare emulsion fuel. Here is set supply ratio of the water to the gas oil to the mixer 13 in accordance with an engine speed and an engine load. The prepared emulsion fuel is injected to an injection pipe 7, fed to an injection nozzle 8 by a pressure of injection by an injection pump 4 and injected into a combustion chamber. |
