PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality mesh sheet having excellent physical properties by passing a mesh substrate cloth through a pair of opposite rotary screens and pressing and attaching a liquid thermoplastic resin paste or emulsion to the cloth through the screen and then heating, gelling and pressurizing the resin. CONSTITUTION:While a mesh substrate cloth consisting of a polyamide fiber, polyester fiber, etc., is passed though a rotary screen, preferably having 30-60 mesh and 200-300mum thickness, a liquid thermoplastic resin paste or emulsion of silicone, vinyl chloride polymer, etc., previously prepared in the screen is pressed and attached to the mesh substrate cloth by a squeegee provided in the screen and smoothed by a mangle and then heated to gel the resin. The gel is pressurized with a roll press to provide the objective high-quality mesh sheet excellent in stiffness, tensile and tear strength, elongation, etc. |
