PRODUCTION OF 7-AZOLYL-1H-PYRAZOLO(1,5-B)-1,2,4-TRIAZOLE COMPOUND

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain in high yield in good workability and safety the subject compound useful as e.g. a coupler for color photographs using silver salt by reaction of a halogeno-pyrazolo-triazole compound with an azole compound in the presence of a metal (bi)carbonate. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of the formula (R1 and R2 are each H or substituent; A is nonmetal atom group necessary for forming an azole ring together with N) can be obtained by reacting (A) a 7-halogeno-1H- pyrazolo[1,5-b]-1,2,4-triazole compound with (B) an azole compound at a molar ratio of pref. (1:1) to (1:10) in the presence of a metal (bi)carbonate (pref. sodium carbonate) pref. in an aprotic polar solvent (pref. 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidone).
