PURPOSE:To obtain an electrical insulating polypropylene film excellent in heat resistance by melt-molding a mixture of a copolymer of propylene and an alkenylsilane with a compd. contg. at least 2 unsatd. bonds, stretching the molding and irradiating the resulting film with radiation. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a copolymer of propylene and an alkenylsilane (e.g. vinylsilane) with a compd. contg. at least 2 unsatd. bonds (e.g. divinylbenzene) is melt-molded and then stretched at least monoaxially to form a film, which is then irradiated with radiation to obtain a heat-resistant electrical insulating film. |
