摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an optimum method by which both the improvement of magnetic characteristic and the shortening of finish annealing time are enabled by drawing the relation between the component and the necessary purifying time from theory and experiment. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a grain oriented electrical steel sheet incorporating 1-7% Si, >=0.01% Al and/or S and total 0.001-0.80% of one or more kinds of the elements selected from A group composed of C, N, O, Sb, Nb, V, Se, B, W, Cu, Mo, Cr and Co, the concns. of chemical component in the A group and S and/or Al at the center part of the sheet after the finish annealing for aiming secondary recystallization and impurity purification are made to be <=3% of the concns. before the finish annealing. Further, the time of the finishing annealing (purification) at >=1000 deg.C is made to be either two times or below of the time when S at the center part becomes <=3% of the concn. before the finish annealing or three times or below of the time when Al at the center part becomes <=3% of the concn. before the finish annealing. Further, by incorporating total <=1% of one or more kinds of elements selected from among Mn, Ni, Sn, P, Zr, Ca and Mg in the above restriction, the grain oriented electrical steel sheet having >=1.80T (Tesla) magnetic flux density B8 and <=1.5 Watt/kg in W17/50 of iron loss is manufactured.
