PURPOSE:To obtain a recording material imparting high developed color density and good in the preservability of its non-image part, in the recording material wherein a layer containing a microcapsule including an electron donating leuco dye and an electron acceptive compd. is provided on a support, by using a phenol derivative having a specific structure as the electron acceptive compd. CONSTITUTION:In a recording material wherein a layer containing a microcapsule including an electron donating leuco dye and an electron acceptive compd. is provided on a support, as the electron acceptive compd., a phenol derivative represented by formula I (wherein R1 is H, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a phenyl group which may have a substituent and R2 is an acryloyloxyalkyl group or a methacryloyloxyalkyl group) is used. As a result, the recording material good in photopolymerization sensitivity, imparting high developed color density and excellent in the preservability of its non-image part can be obtained. |
