ZIRCONIUM, ZIRCONIA, SPINEL CONTAINING FIRED BASIC REFRACTORY

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a fired basic refractory used for high durable lining material which suppresses stripping damage caused by thermal shock in a kiln large in temp. fluctuation at the time of steel making and refining and is excellent in spalling resistance and slag infiltration resistance durable against the agitation of a molten steel, flux refining or the like at the time of a gas injection type refining. CONSTITUTION:The high temp strength and wear resistance of a magnesia- zirconia brick is improved to the level of a magnesite-chrom brick by making the fired basic refractory which consists of 1-10wt.% zircon, 2-15wt.% zirconia, 5-35wt.% spinel selected in the particle diameter region of 10-35wt.% in 0.5-10mm preferably 0.5mm region and of 5-30wt.% in 10mm region and balance magnesia to increase the bonding among magnesia particles by zirconia.
