PURPOSE:To provide a light semitransmitting illuminating tool, excellent in illuminating function and interior function and capable of emitting semitransparent mellow light. CONSTITUTION:The objective illuminating tool is composed of a light source 7 and a light semitransmitting cover 6 covering the periphery of the light source 7. The light semitransmitting cover 6 is constructed of a ceramic material composed of 10-60wt.% SiO2, 20-40wt.% CaO, 10-30wt.% P2O5, 10-25wt.% Al2O2, 1-3wt.% K2O and 0.2-1wt.% Na2O. A globe, a shade, a bracket, etc., for illumination are cited as the light semitransmitting cover 6. A relief pattern 60 such as an uneven pattern can be formed on the surface of the light semitransmitting cover 6. |
