PURPOSE:To enhance the degree of freedom of air bag unit layout by eliminating the collision reaction of a bag spreading guide. CONSTITUTION:A bag spreading guide 16 comprises a guide plate 17 and a stay member 20. The guide plate 17 is fixed to an air bag unit 10 at its side part of the automobile front side; and is provided with a hood section 18 extended to the upper part of an air bag cover 14 and for directing the spreading direction of a bag body 13 to the opening 2 of an instrument panel 1, and a highly bending part 19 formed on its connecting part. The stay member 20 strides over the upper surface of the hood part 18 to fix to the either side part of the air bag unit 10 in the automobile width direction. |
