PURPOSE:To machine a cylindrical work without changing the controlling software of the laser beam machine. CONSTITUTION:A work rotating device A attaching a chuck 33 at the tip of a rotary shaft 31 is provided on the side of a bed 1. The axial center C of this rotary shaft 31 is arranged along the Y axis direction which is the moving direction of a carriage 13 attaching a machining head 23, and positioned just below this machining head 23. A gear 34 attached to the rotary shaft 31 is engaged with a rack 35 attached to a table 3 in the X axis direction. A cylindrical work W held with the chuck 33 rotates in synchronism with the straight line movement of the table 3. |
