PURPOSE:To suppress the anaerobic bacteria from flowing out. CONSTITUTION:In an anaerobic wastewater treatment apparatus wherein wastewater is led to an reactor 1 and led to pass a layer of anaerobic bacteria by upward flow and the treated water is made to flow out of a three phase separating part 4 in the upper part of the reactor, a box 8 is set in the three phase separating part 4. A flowing out pipe 10 of the treated water is installed in the box 8 and at the same time the flowing inlet 12 of a liquid is set to face downward and a tilting plate 13 to prevent a gas from the anaerobic bacteria layer 6 from flowing in the flowing inlet 12 and to guide the gas along the down face is set in the lower side of the flowing inlet 12 and thus circulating flow to up and down directions is generated in the three phase separating part 4.
