<p>PURPOSE:To make the information pattern, which is formed by the partial removal of a metal vapor deposition layer, readable even when the pattern is covered with the stain of the printed surface of a magnetic card and an invisible layer by treating the detection signal which is detected by scanning of a sensor head. CONSTITUTION:By printing with a thermosensible recording head contacted on a magnetic card from the surface of a protective layer 5 according to a usual thermosensible recording method, three removal parts 3B1, 3B2, 3B3 are formed which change within the range of a width of about 5mm and a length of 5-10mm. The part excluding the removal parts is a non-removal part 3A. Scanning with a sensor head S being moved at a constant speed of 20mm/ sec is carried out to keep a constant space of about 0.1mm between the surface of the magnetic card and the tip of the sensor head S. The output voltage obtained at the removal parts 3B1, 3B2, 3B3 which is formed on a metal deposition layer 3 is sufficiently higher than the output voltage obtained at the non- removal part 3A, thereby producing a voltage difference of about 1V. Accordingly, information reading can be conducted in a non contact method to attain high reading reliability.</p> |
