PURPOSE:To obtain the ultra short wave oscillator having excellent direction characteristics in light weight and rigid construction, by providing the electrode pair opposing to the surface having a number of holes thicknesswise, and providing the radiation plate to one of the electrode pair. CONSTITUTION:The element 1 having a number of holes 2 ticknessiwise, forms the rod shape elements having small cross section in many numbers laid. Further, the electrode 3 and 4 of a pair or a plurality of pairs are provided by opposing to the surface providing the holes 2, and the radiation plate 5 is provided at one of the electrodes. With this constitution, the oscillation of rod transversally is less and the oscillation is almost lengthwise the rod. Thus, the ultra short wave oscillator having excellent directional characteristics and light in the weight and solid in the construction can be obtained. |
