PURPOSE:To improve coverting efficiency by displaying preferentially a related symbol irrespective of its appearing frequency in symbol selection. CONSTITUTION:Reading information about the symbol, the information of the related symbol, and an identifier and the number of times of appearance selected last time as frequency information are stored in a dictionary part 4. A read-out means 31 reads, at least, one symbol corresponding to the reading information out of the dictionary part 4, and displays it on a display part 1 in conformity with the frequency information. At that time, if there is the information of the related symbol of the symbol selected just before, the designated related symbol is displayed prior to the number of times of the appearance. When the selection is fixed, the frequency information is updated, and the information of the related-symbol too is updated simultaneously with rearrangement, and is written in the dictionary part 4. |
