PURPOSE:To simply vary a recording speed by controlling it according to the kind of both surface unit detected by a detection means. CONSTITUTION:A main body control part 12 controls the recording operation of the main body 1 and is provided with a CPU 14. A both surface unit control part 13 controls the inversion operation of the both surface units 2, 3 and is provided with the CPU 15, a motor driver 16 and a detection switch 17. The detection switch 17 consists of, e.g. a dip switch and its outputs P0, P1 are set to (P0, P1)=(L, H) when the both surface unit 2 is loaded on the body 1, and the outputs P0, P1 are set to (P0, P1)=(H, L) when the both surface unit 3 is loaded on the body 1. Further, when the both surface units are not loaded and not used, the outputs P0, P1 are set to (P0, P1)=(H, H), and the load and the kind of the both surface units 2, 3 are detected. The CPU 15 controls the motor driver 16 according to the kind of the both surface unit detected by the detection switch 17. |
