PURPOSE:To carry out a truncating processing of many series of sounds without generating any sense of musical incompatibility. CONSTITUTION:Information CK(i) (i=1-k) specifying sounds to be truncated at the same time among respective sounds in many series is set in a ROM. When many series of sounds are generated, the numbers of sound generation channels to be truncated associatively as to respective sound generation channels to which the sound generation of the series of sounds is assgined are calculated according to the CK(i) (i=1-k) and written in areas CC(ch) prepared for the respective sound generation channels ch. For the truncating process, the contents of the areas CC are referred to and when some part of sounds constituting the series of sounds is to be truncated, other sounds in associative relation with it are all truncated. |
