PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time required to convert the storage position of image data stored in an image memory. CONSTITUTION:This data converting device is equipped with memories 107 and 108 having an FIFO function, a delay setting part 102 which sets the number of dots to be shifted, row by row, a counter 103 for taking the timing of the writing of data to the memory 108, a comparison part 104 which compares the output values of the delay setting part 102 and counter 103 with each other, a reading and writing part 109 which reads the image data out of the memory 108 and writes the image data in the memory 108, and a sequence control part 101 which controls the whole device. |
