<p>PURPOSE:To prohibit the recording of an arbitrary program without generating inconvenience. CONSTITUTION:When a program code is inputted in step 1, a specific ID signal inserted to the program code is discriminated in step 2. In such a case, when the ID signal shows the one to permit the recording, an ordinary decode operation is performed in step 3, then, processing is completed. Also, when the ID signal shows the one to prohibit the recording in step 2, the input of a key signal is requested in step 4. Furthermore, coincidence between an inputted key signal and the key signal set in advance is discriminated in step 5. When the coincidence is obtained. the decoding operation is performed on an inputted program code from which the ID signal is eliminated in step 6, then, the processing is completed. On the other hand, when noncoincidence is obtained in step 5, the processing is completed as it is. Thereby, the recording by an ordinary operation can be prohibited by inserting the specific ID signal to the program code, for example, that is an undesirable program for a youth.</p> |
