<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for confirming message reception and to relieve the load an a communication controller in the data transmission system comprising plural communication controllers. CONSTITUTION:A message used for data transmission consists of a SOM field representing start of the message, a DATAIF field representing an identifier of the data, a DESNODE field representing destination of data, a DATA field representing the data to be sent, a CRC field representing the result of calculation for error check, an ACK field for reception acknowledgement and an EOM field representing end of the message. The ACK field consists of bits for reception acknowledgement and space bits and is formed as a unified form independently of any of reception nodes (controllers). Thus, when plural reception nodes are employed for the system, a transmission node discriminates the end of transmission by a reception acknowledgement signal sent from at least one node.</p> |
