<p>PURPOSE:To ensure sustaining current at the time of short circuit and to suppress voltage fluctuation at the time of 100% power factor load throw-in or interruption of load. CONSTITUTION:An exciting current transformer 4 is provided with a tap 8 and a contact 9 is closed to switch the tap 8 when a voltage detector 10 detects short circuit. Consequently, sustaining current can be ensured at the time of short circuit while voltage fluctuation can be suppressed at the time of throw-in of load having 100% power factor or at the time of interrupting the load. Furthermore, tap of the exciting current transformer 4 can be regulated easily because the tap is regulated individually for short circuit and normal operation.</p> |
