PURPOSE:To provide a controller for a laser oscillator which manage the lives of the discharge lamp and oscillating lamps, and indicates that the time to replace them with new ones has come. CONSTITUTION:If a part of laser oscillator 20 was replaced, a processor 11a calculates both the integrated period of time where the laser oscillator 20 has been used after the part was replaced and the integrated value of the laser output, and displays these calculated values on a CRT 16a. Further, the processor 11a predicts the life of the part from these integrated values, and when the life nearly ends, the processor 11a displays a warning on a CRT 16a and at the same time puts on an alarm lamp. |
