发明名称 BRAKE CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRIC AUTOMOBILE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve brake feeling by generating only mechanical brake power if brake operation is started during speed change operation whereas generating regenerative power gradually if brake operation endures at a point of time when speed change operation ends. CONSTITUTION:An EV controller 50 operates a torque command based on a stepping amount of accelerator pedal, a brake amount, and the like and an operation result is delivered, as a torque command value, to an inverter controller 52. The inverter controller 52 produces a current command in response to the command value and controls output torque from a motor 10 through control of a power converter 14. In other words, if brake operation is started during speed change interval, only mechanical brake power is produced and the number of revolution of the drive motor 10 is controlled thus suppressing speed change impact. Furthermore, regenerative brake power is controlled to be generated gradually if brake operation endures at a point of time when speed change operation ends. According to the constitution, abrupt deceleration does not take place at the end of speed change operation resulting in improvement of brake feeling.
