PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable magnetron of desired sink phase characteristics by setting an antenna-leading aperture on a magnetic pole at a position where it is possible to adjust the antenna length. CONSTITUTION:An antenna-leading aperture 7a is formed at the boundary which is formed of a flat part 7A and tapering part 7B. This formation makes it possible to shorten the developed length of the antenna and consequently to match the sink phase of a magnetron easily. And further, this formation makes it possible to remove accute angled projection because the opening end 7b of the antenna-leading aperture 7a on the flat part 7a can be formed by press in the same direction as the tube axis. consequently, any spark which is apt to appear between the antenna and the upper magnetic pole 7 can surely be prevented. |
