PURPOSE:To provide a Japanese word meaning analysis method which can improve the rightness of construction analysis. CONSTITUTION:When a relation between the noun of a participle modifier and the noun receiving the participle modifier is not stored as knowledge date (l) and (2), the relation roughly classifies a meaning that the nous has and it is judged whether meaning classification is possible or not based on a rule showing the meaningful pertinence of a modification relation between the nouns (3). When the relation can be classified in terms of meaning, whether the result is accurate or not is inquired to an operator (4). When a judgement signal that the result is not accurate is received and when the relation cannot be classified in terms of the meaning based on the rule (3), whether the relation is pertinent in terms of the meaning or not is inquired to the operator (5). When the judgement signal that the relation is pertinent or not is received, data are added to knowledge data as a successful example (7) or a failed example (8). |
