PURPOSE:To make the NA of emission easier to increase and to facilitate manufacturing by reflecting emitted light from a semiconductor laser on the plane side near to the light emitting point of the semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:The emitted light from the semiconductor laser 1 is reflected on the inclined surface 7 of a silicon substrate 6, and is made incident on a plate 4, and is changed to a light beam, and is made incident on a hologram 12 on a plate upper plane 11, and is transmitted by 0th-order diffraction, and is made incident on an objective lens 13. The light beam made incident on the objective lens is converged, and forms a beam spot on an information recording medium 14. Reflected light reflected on the information recording medium 14 passes the objective lens 13 again, and is made incident on the hologram 12. 1st-order light made incident and diffracted on the hologram 12 is made incident on a photodetector 10 formed on the silicon substrate 6 after changing its optical path, and a servo error signal and an information reproducing signal can be obtained by the output of the photodetector 10. |
