PURPOSE:To immediately recognize the home terminal which the supply of CATV signals is interrupted and to retreive the connection system of an upper direction amplifier easily. CONSTITUTION:At center facilities 10, using the connection system information of a main amplifier 12 and a branch amplifier 60 through a distribution amplifier 11 and response information from a home terminal 30, the connection system display information of the home terminal 30, the distribution amplifier 11, and the main amplifier 12 is automatically generated. The branch amplifier 60 informs the own polling address and a code number to discriminate a branched branch transmission line of the connected home terminal 30. Also, at the home terminal 30, by the polling from the center facilities 10, the polling address of the branch amplifier 60 arranged in a higher rank from just prior and the code number to discriminate a branch coaxial cable 42 which branches from the branch amplifier 60 are transmitted through the branch amplifier 60 to the center facilities 10. |
