PURPOSE:To obtain a method and a device for correcting a lacking signal of accumulated media, which can protect a video software being an intellectual property from illegal use, and can correct a signal lack even if it is generated at the time of reproducing a signal enciphered and recorded on the accumulated media. CONSTITUTION:A signal lack of a reproducing signal of a signal enciphered and recorded in accumulated media is detected as a lacking signal by a DO detecting circuit 2, a lack detecting signal and the reproducing signal are both decoded by a decoding circuit 3, and thereafter, by using the decoded lack detecting signal, a correction processing of the signal lack of the decoded reproducing signal is executed by a line correcting circuit 6. In such a way, at the time of reproducing the signal enciphered and recorded in the accumulated media, even if a signal lack is generated, a reproducing signal which corrects it and has no lack can be obtained. |
