PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing a means sending status information representing whether or not a destination accesses data sent thereto to a sender to the transmitter so as to avoid a troublesome operation in the case of data transmission. CONSTITUTION:A 3rd status processing section 3300 discriminates the presence of setting of a status request with respect to transmission data sent to a destination terminal equipment 3000 via a 3rd input output control section 3200. When the setting is in existence, the processing section 3300 decides whether or not a date and time reaches an expired date and time, and when the date and time does not reach the expired date and time and the data are accessed, a relevant items of a transmission destination status management table 2510 is revised. On the other hand, when the date and time reaches an expired date and time, a 2nd status processing section 2300 accesses a table 2510 and reads a relevant transmission destination data group and sends the read data to a sender as actual data of the transmission data. Thus, the sender obtains status information representing whether or not the transmission data are accessed by the destination and the operability is improved. |
