PURPOSE:To provide an inverter controller for controlling the phase current of motor in which distortion of current due to dead time can be prevented without requiring any operation in CPU. CONSTITUTION:A PWM signal generating circuit 18 generates a PWM signal having duty ratio proportional to a voltage command which is then added with a dead time, generated from a dead time generating circuit a19, at a variable timing corresponding to the polarity of a current command fed from a current control circuit 17 thus matching the width of output voltage with that of the PWM signal irrespective of the polarity of phase current. |
