<p>Slabs can be supplied with coloured areas which are sharply differentiated from each other, as is required, for example, in the manufacture of spectacle frames, combs, stencils, etc., by applying pressure and heat to the slabs in the usual manner, pref. while they are in a non-dried condition, and punching blanks at required intervals. The punched holes are then filled with differently coloured blanks and the slab or strip is then pressed out while heated.</p> |
