PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which obtains a high quality image excellent in sharpness without surface staining, and is excellent in transferring and cleaning properties without having the failures of the scattering of toner, etc., and effective in the conservation of natural resources and environmental safeguard. CONSTITUTION:In a copying machine provided with a cleaning device recovering the toner remaining on the surface of a photosensitive drum 1, a developing unit 3 reusing the recovered toner, a developing unit 4 using unused toner, and a recovered toner carrying device 8, image forming process conditions such as the conditions of latent image potential formation, the carrier diameter and stirring of the developer, the replenishment of the toner, a transfer, cleaning, and precleaning surface potential control, are made different, at the time of using the recovered toner and at the time of using the unused toner. Moreover, a recovered toner hopper for reusing the recovered toner in the developing unit 4 can be previded separately from a toner cartridge 4d, on the developing unit 4 instead of the developing unit 3. |
