摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the microcomputer operation system which is stable against a runaway of a CPU and low in power consumption. CONSTITUTION:A pulse transmitter 8 which is connected to a power source 9 independently of a microcomputer LSI 1 which has a stand-by mode is arranged inside or outside the microcomputer LSI 1, a resistance 4 is connected between the power terminal 10 of the microcomputer LSI and a power source 9, and an electrolytic capacitor 5 is connected between the power terminal 10 of the microcomputer and a ground terminal 11; and the output 7 of the pulse transmitter 8 is connected to the reset terminal of the microcomputer LSI 1 and the microcomputer enters the stand-by mode after executing a program for a certain period. The period of the pulse transmitter 8 is set much longer than the program execution time of the microcomputer and the execution, stand-by, and resetting modes of the program are repeated at constant periods.
