<p>PURPOSE:To provide high quality reproduced images by preventing noise from being outputted to the reproduced images without adding any special control or control means in the case of performing reproducing, especially, performing still reproducing at the VTR different from the VTR at the time of recording by controlling a capstan motor to obtain a position, where no noise is outputted, at the time of still reproducing. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a tracking volume 6 for controlling tracking, tracking control circuit 8 to output tracking control data based on the set value of the tracking volume 6, capstan motor 13, capstan signal generating circuit 14 to detect the revolving frequency of the capstan motor 13, and adder circuit 9 to add a count value obtained by counting capstan signals from this circuit 14 and the tracking control data from the tracking control circuit 8 and based on the compared result of the added output from this circuit 9 and stop position data, the capstan motor 13 is controlled.</p> |
